The buildings here
Neukölln runs from the pre-1914 blocks in the north down to Britz, where the Hufeisensiedlung stands, Bruno Taut's 1925 estate, a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2008 and under heritage protection. Different rules apply there: doors, windows and proportions are part of the listed fabric and none of it can simply be swapped out. Three of the pieces in our portfolio were built in Britz, fitted so the original stays what it is. The workshop is in neighbouring Treptow, ten minutes away.
