Games table for large board games

180 cm wide · 100 cm deep · 82 cm high · American cherry, oiledBerlin-Britz2024

Large board games run long and occupy the table. This one is in oiled American cherry: panels drop in to make a second level, so the game stays set up underneath while dinner happens on top.

The playing surface is finished in a hard-wearing viscose felt. Glass holders, snack bowls, trays for pieces and for dice hook into milled grooves inside and outside the table, and can be placed wherever they are wanted.

A cherry games table: the recessed playing surface in dark grey felt, half covered by a solid top laid over it. Glass holders with glasses and several trays hook onto the edges.

The games table with the panels half in place: on the right the solid wood panel covers the playing surface, on the left the grey felt stays open. A five-sided dice tray, two rectangular trays and, on the outside, two glass holders with a glass and a cup hook into the grooves along the edge.

One corner of the games table close up: the five-sided cherry dice tray, lined with felt, hooked into the groove along the edge. A radiator and curtain behind.

The joint between two panels close up: the panels interlock with a step and rest on the cherry frame.
