Swivelling lamp arm

approx. 120 cm extended · solid jatoba, oiledBerlin-Schöneberg2025

The arm swings so the dining lamp hangs centred over the table, including when the table is extended and therefore standing somewhere else.

The hard part was the joint: a hinge in oiled jatoba with the cable routed inside, designed and built by hand, without CNC.

A two-part lamp arm in dark oiled jatoba, mounted on the ceiling with a joint at its centre. The lamp cable hangs from the free end.

The jatoba lamp arm folded together against the ceiling: the two sections lie on each other, the round joint at one end, the white cable hanging down.
